There will be no shortfall of development fund: Mahajan


Satpur: The Chief Minister has adopted the city. As he is holding town development ministry, there will be no shortfall of fund for city development, stated state Water Resources and District Guardian Minister Girish Mahajan.

He inaugurated a water tank having 20 MCFt capacity at Ashoknagar on Maharashtra Day. MLAs Seema Hiray and Balasaheb Sanap, Mayor Ranjana Bhansi, Deputy Mayor Prathmesh Gite, NMC standing committee chairperson Shivaji Gangurde, regional BJP vice president Laxman Savji, former MLA Vasant Gite, former city chief Vijay Sane, city general secretary Prashant Jadhav, city vice president Ramhari Sambherao, corporators of the ward Shashikant Jadhav, Sudam Nagre, Pallavi Patil and others were present.

Mahajan stated further that Nashik is on third position in state. Water tank has been constructed, but planning for water has to be made. Efforts are taken to complete construction of Kikvi dam immediately.

While speaking over Maitreya case, the District Guardian Minister instructed to seize properties of cheaters and return the amount of investors from them. Farmers suffered losses due to unseasonal rain and hailstorm. Orders have been issued to conduct panchanamas of affected areas to provide compensation to the affected, Mahajan informed.

Shashikant Jadhav made the introductory speech. MLA Seema Hiray and Mayor Ranajana Bhansi expressed their views. Bhaskar Bandavane compered the programme, whereas Ganesh Bolkar proposed the vote of thanks. Citizens in large numbers were present for the programme.
