Nashik: Bharatiya Vima Karmachari Sena has always taken initiative to resolve problems of employees. So far it has fulfilled various demands of employees and will be committed for well being of the employees in future too, stated MLA Sunil Shinde.
He was speaking during Nashik divisional convention at HRD centre Nashik. Sanghatana’s Nitin Vikhar, general secretary Chandrashekhar Thakur, Mumbai’s general secretary Mahesh Lad and senior circle manager Pradip Sherne were present on the dais.
Shinde stated further that pay hike agreement problem was resolved through the Sanghatana. Efforts are being taken to make a 5-day official week. Sanghatana is also taking efforts to take home loan and credit co-op society in its custody. These problems will be resolved soon. There is a need to strengthen worker movement to fulfill some more demands, he added. General secretary Chandrashekhar Thakur said, “Transfers of assistants have taken place, but other Sanghatanas are stating that this happened due to them. Considering this we are taking a follow up regarding HGA transfers. Our Sanghatana will follow up with management and will fix these transfers.
“While appointing a person from our Sanghatana on class I post, there is injustice. We have been successful in helping to reduce this. We have to maintain our pressure on the management for well being of the organisation and employees. For this, 100% unity is required. Number of members has to be increased to strengthen our Sanghatana and everyone should take initiative for this,” he added.
Others also expressed their views. Earlier, garlands were offered to the images of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Shahu Maharaj and Jyotiba Phule. Kalu Kale, Bharat Tejale and others were also present.
