Orphan Trust to help orphans

NASHIK: The Orphan Welfare Trust has taken the initiative to raise such children whose parents were succumbed to the virus. Until these orphans get a job, the Trust will be responsible for their educational and other expenses, informed former special Inspector-General of Police Dr Pratap Dighavkar while addressing a press conference.

The earning male member in many families died due to Covid-19. Some have even lost their parents. As a result, many children have become orphans. Therefore, to revive the lives of such orphaned children and to give them support, every effort will be made to bear the expenditure of these children through the Welfare Trust.

The Trust has taken the responsibility for all the expenses by handing over the orphaned children to their relatives. Former president of AIMA Dhananjay Bele, general secretary Lalit Boob, Gorakh Bodke and other office bearers were present at the press conference held at the AIMA Recreation Center.
