Online training being given at MPA

In view of coronavirus outbreak, online training is being imparted to police cadets at Maharashtra Police Academy (MPA) here. Training is being given daily to batch of 670 trainee PSIs, informed MPA director Aswati Dorje.

Training is being imparted to batches of 670 PSIs and 11 deputy superintendents of police at MPA since January 2, 2020. Following lockdown in the country since March 23 when three months training was completed.

On the backdrop of this, physical training has been stopped. A separate room has been provided to every cadet. Food items have been given separately to everyone.70 cadets are taking food at a time maintaining a social distance. Their timings have been fixed. Mask, sanitizer and hand gloves are being distributed. A facility to provide online training has been created in MPA, she informed.

Yoga classes are being conducted regularly maintaining social distancing. In addition, medical check up of all trainnes are being conducted every two days, while medical check up of officials, employees and their families after every week, Dorje made it clear.
