The school education department has undertaken another project for the school. Under this initiative, Class I and Class II officers of the government system will visit the school once a month, evaluate the facilities of the school and give instructions on how to rectify the basic faults.
This activity will be monitored at the level of Divisional Commissioner. In this initiative, the authorities will have to visit at least three schools in a year.
Officials visiting the school have been instructed to take measures to increase the enrollment of students from rural areas in Zilla Parishad schools in consultation with the school management committee, Gram Panchayat members, Sarpanch.
During the school visit, physical facilities, sports equipment, toilets, school nutrition will be assessed and a report will be submitted. Apart from the school education department, Panchayat Raj, rural development and revenue department will also be involved in this initiative.
Municipal schools should also be included
The state has Zilla Parishad schools as well as Municipal and Municipal schools.
However, these schools are not included in this initiative. Therefore, for the development of schools, to increase the number of students, it is being demanded to include municipal schools in this initiative.
