The proposal of restoration works at badminton court of Shivsatya Ground, Gangapur Road, came in for discussions in the standing committee meeting. Members opposed this proposal as the building was in use without any proper contract with NMC.

The revenue of the Corporation is getting lost due to this. A member said that the previous contract of the building which was done on Sept 8, 1987, has come to an end two years ago. Another member highlighted that Jija Hall at Tulsi Nagar which was vacated recently was illegally used for ten years and now has been given to the same person on lease. The community hall at Saubhagya Nagar is commercially used for gymnasium but no action was taken. It’s been illegally run with friendly relations of NMC officials, alleged members.
