NASHIK :
As per the new guidelines, in all the containment zones, the OPD centers and clinics will remain closed, while in rest of the red and non-red zones hospitals will continue to remain open. There are currently 186 Containment Zones in Nashik district.
The state government has announced categorization of various areas into red and non-red zones for the purpose of allowing or restricting business and other activities in view of coronavirus pandemic.
During the earlier phases of lockdown, the district was divided into red, orange and green zones.
As per the new guidelines, Containment Zones, Red and non-Red Zones have been demarcated in the state and the earlier Green and Orange zones have been cancelled.
Nashik and Malegaon municipal corporations have been placed in the Red Zone, while rest part of Nashik district has been tagged as the Non-Red Zone. As a result of these new rules, economic activities and regular routine will pick up pace in the non-red zones which will give a much needed respite to people under the lockdown.
The new guidelines would come into effect from tomorrow (May 22).
