Deputy registrar, RTO offices to reopen

NASHIK :
The fourth phase of the lockdown will begin from today and a permission has been given to reopen deputy registrar and regional transport offices (RTO) with limited manpower. Barring containment zones, these office will continue to function in red and orange zones, instructed the District Collector.
Government has earned large scale revenue from these offices. They will be reopened from today. To revive stalled economy, permission has been given to restart industries, trades and shops related to emergency services with rules and regulations. As government is getting highest revenue through liquor sale, government permitted to reopen them. Followed by this, revenue is collected through deputy registar and RTO offices.
Government has received revenue through land, property buying and sale, registration of tenant agreement in deputy registar offices. It has also got revenue in the form of passing of new vehicles, sale of vehicle number series, renewal of driving licence, permit and penal action in RTO offices.
Barring containment zones, deputy registart offices in red and orange zones will be reopened with five officials and employees, while RTO office with attendence of 10% employees.
