Flanked by Minister of State for Agriculture and Ex-Servicemen Welfare Dadaji Bhuse and MLA Mufti Mohammad Ismail, Minister Tope was speaking at the review meeting held at Malegaon on Wednesday.

In the meet, high-ranking administrative and health personnel apprised the Health Minister about the prevailing crisis in the district, especially Malegaon, a hotspot with 253 cases.

Minister Tope said that continuous efforts are being made to provide timely meals as well as health facilities to those kept at the institutional quarantine centers.

Talking about the rising number of cases in Malegaon, the Minister appealed private doctors to operate their OPDs so that other patients don’t suffer a lack of treatment.

He assured that PPE kits would be provided to select private hospitals having patients with mild symptoms, and affirmed that the increasing number of patients in Malegaon is a cause of concern hence it has been decided to appoint specialist doctors.
