Bytco hospital converted into Covid-19 hospital

The extended building of Bytco hospital in Nashik city has been converted into Covid-19 hospital in the wake of the rising number of the Coronavirus cases. Coronavirus patients will now be treated there and arrangement of 300 beds will be made there.

After the Coronavirus outbreak, a facility to isolate Corona suspects or high contacts in affected had been made in Bytco hospital and fire brigade building which is adjacent to it. After a rise in patients, Bytco hospital has been converted into Covid-19 hospital. After the appointment of doctors and health personnel, Corona affected are now being treated there. 100 beds will be added to the current 200 beds.

NMC has started to take efforts to treat Corona affected in every division. 60 more beds will be added to the current 100 beds in Dr Zakir Hussain hospital. The number of beds in ICU here will be increased to 100 in view of the rising number of patients. Arrangement of 100 beds is being made at ESI hospital in Satpur. In addition, 100 beds have been arranged in the social welfare department’s hostel building at Bajarangwadi. A building has been acquired there for a stay of doctors and health personnel.

NMC has increased the number of doctors in the wake of the rising number of Covid-19 patients. Arrangement of additional beds is being made at Bytco, Dr Zakir Hussain hospital, social welfare department’s hostel and ESI hospital.
