Three two-wheelers set on fire


Nashik Road: Three two-wheelers parked in parking of a housing society in Chehdi Shiv area, Nashik Road were found set on fire. Complainant woman in her complaint with police stated that her husband set these two-wheelers on fire. Police are searching for him. A case in connection with this has been registered at Nashik Road police station.

According to police, Anita Shashikant Jagtap (40, resident of Jai Maa Ashapuri housing society) filed a complaint regarding this. She has Activa, Discover and KTM Bajaj. When these two-wheelers were parked in the parking of society, unidentified person poured inflammable substance on them and set them on fire. Loss worth Rs. 1.39 lakh took place after these two-wheelers were gutted.

Nashik Road police reached the spot after they got news. Mrs. Jagtap in her complaint alleged that her husband Shashikant Jagtap was involved in this. Anita Jagtap and Shashikant Jagtap have family dispute between them. It is being suspect that this act was done over this. Police are investigating into the matter from that angle.

DCP Shrikrishna Kokate, ACP Mohan Thakur and senior police inspector Pandharinath Dhokne inspected the spot.
