Nashik : The interschool district level Spelling B competition by Education Concepts, India was organised at Sindhusagar school. Director of Education Concepts, India Ritu Mutha, school headmistress Hemlata Dhanwani and manager Krishna Bangera inaugurated the competition.
The competition was conducted in two stages – written and oral. Those who were present surprised by students’ written and oral skill.
“Students are learned vocabulary and pronunciation skills through such competitions. We organised the competition for first time in Nashik to create interest among students about English subject,” informed director Ritu Mutha. Students won the mind of those who were present by giving accurate answers of more than 1000 words.
Students from Cambridge school, Ryan International, Potdar international school, Rangubai Junnare English medium school, Golden Horizon, Delhi Public school and other schools in the district took part in the competition.
Meanwhile, Abhinav Anand, Jitesh Munot, Barnita Raut, Shreyas Lal, Samiksha Jadhav, Jidnyasya Patil, Anushka Pancha, Ashutosh Shukla, Barnali Raut and Raunak Raikisani won first prize, while Avani Sangale, Kirit Milani, Ishita Metkar, Mohit Kothari, Nupur Aynapure, Ishani, Arya Loharkar, Varun Sanghvi, Jetin Melnani and Kirti Jadhav received second prize.
Savani Babriya, Arya Kulkarni, Kritisha Solunke, Swajit Patil, Vedika Bapat, Pari Malani, Ishika Gupta, Fatima Saiyyad, Meet Shah, Shradhha Wagh and Durva Shen got third prize.
