NASHIK :

The number of citizens returned from coronavirus affected countries has been reached 760 till Sunday (Apr 26). Of them, home quarantine period of 623 persons has been completed. Though reports of three health workers who have been admitted to hospital last week received negative, report of a trainee doctor received positive.

In the meantime, though the number of high-risk persons who came in contact with positive patients in restricted zones in the city has lowered to 77 from 103, the number of low-risk persons has been risen by 21 on Sunday. With this, the number of total persons has increased to 262.

Six new suspects have been admitted to NMC’s Dr Zakir Hussain hospital on Sunday. Now, the number of suspects receiving treatment in this hospital has lowered to 11 from 35. A doctor, nurse and pharmacist who were doing a survey in city area had been admitted to hospital after they were suffering from corona like symptoms. As they were tested negative, the health department is relieved.

After admitting 469 suspects to hospitals in the city, 388 were discharged after they got cured. Of the total 507 swabs which have been sent till Sunday, 486 were tested negative. Reports of 10 suspects are pending. A total of 11 positive patients have been found so far.

A total of 361 citizens came to the city from various parts of the state. So far 820 persons have been stamped and a number of those homes where a sticker has been stuck has reached 810. while the number of those who have been home quarantined is 137.

NMC health department has formed a total of 55 medical teams to conduct survey door to door in Govindnagar, Navshya Ganpati temple area in Gangapur Road, Dhongdenagar area in Nashik Road, Bajrangwadi (social welfare dept hostel) and Sanjeevnagar area on Ambad-Satpur link road.

The department is monitoring 21 low-risk persons in Govindnagar, 1 high-risk and 9 low-risk persons in Navshya Ganpati temple area in Gangapur Road, 12 high-risk and 26 low-risk persons in Dhongdenagar area in Nashik Road, 12 high-risk and 153 low-risk persons in social welfare department hostel in Bajarangwadi area and 52 high-risk and 53 low-risk patients in Sanjeevnagar ara. In this way, a total of 77 high-risk and 262 low-risk patients are under watch.
