Setu kendras to be closed


Nashik : All types of certificates will be made available using online system for citizens through Mahaonline. District Collector Radhakrishnan B aims to close all setu kendras in two months.

As per government policy, 379 services have been made online under people’s rights act and 51 services related to revenue have been made online.

It is possible for citizens to get all types of certificates through Aaple Sarkar and Mahaonline portals, informed the District Collector. The certificates bearing digital signautures will be provided through the portal of Mahaonline. As a result, citizens will no more have to go to setu kendra.

1.30 lakh citizens took benefit of online services in the district in June. If one consider Nashik division, around 3.5 lakh citizens got certificates online. Setu kendras will be closed phasewise to bring transaparency and speed in governance and efforts will be to provide all services onlines for the citizens, the District Collector also informed.
