Rasbiharians qualify for divisional level taekwondo matches
Nashik: 10 students of Rasbihari International School were achievers in the Taekwondo matches organized by District and Youth Service Directorate, Maharashtra State, Pune, District Sports Officers, Nashik and District Sports Council Nashik between August 26th to 31st.
The matches were held at Meenatai Thakare Stadium Regional Sports Complex, Nashik. Various schools in Nashik participated in the competition. The first position holders have qualified for divisional level taekwando matches.
The winners under 14 group are as follows: Girls: First: Sanjana Agale, Dnyaneshwari Deore and Arya Pekhale. Boys: First: Shouya Morade, Tirth Pokar and Avi Gupta. Third: Tanishk Jadhav The under 17 winners are as follows: Girls: First: Vedangi Kale, Aastha Sanghavi. Boys: First: Roshan Shilavat and Rahul Patil.
The students were coached under the guidance of Heera Bulake. The school Principal Bindu Vijaykumar, sports teacher Machchindra Sonawane, school management and the entire staff congratulated the students for their success.
10 ABS students selected for Int’l Business Plan Competition
Nashik: Ashoka Business School (ABS) in association with makeintern.com organized a workshop on Business Analytics for the students in and around Nashik. Amit Chilka from Pune was the trainer invited for conducting this workshop.
More than 100 students from North Maharashtra participated in this event. Students were evaluated by the trainer and top 10 have been selected for competing in the International Business Plan Competition going to be held at IIM-Indore.
These 10 students will not only represent Ashoka Business School in IIM Indore but also Nashik and whole North Maharashtra. These students are Shubham Tuplondhe, Mitesh Somaiya, Priyank Mewani, Palak Jain, Deepavali Panchal, Gauri Pawar, Rutuja Bachhav, Dnyanal Dhande, Komal Bhagwat and Pranav Deore.
These students will compete in Finale at IIM-Indore. They will have an opportunity to win prizes worth Rs. 50,000. All the students participated actively and wholeheartedly in this workshop to excel their competencies for their personal development in the domain of Business Analytics.
Ashok Katariya, chairman, Ashoka Education Foundation, Dr. D M Gujarathi, director, AEF, Dr. W N. Bhende, administrator, AEF and Prof. Manisha Bhamre, director-in-charge, Ashoka Business School congratulated the winners and wished them a very best luck in final round.

Nashik Cambridge school students visit the post office
Nashik: The students of Sr. KG. in Nashik Cambridge Pre-school were taken on a field trip to the post office. They got a first hand experience of seeing variety of postal stamps. The students were also briefed about the various services provided by the post office.
The knowledge of the students was enhanced following information about money orders, difference between post card and in land letter. The visit turned out to be a fruitful one both in terms of gaining information as well as fun.
St. Francis High school celebrates Teachers Day
Nashik: The St. Francis High school Rane Nagar Nashik celebrated Teachers Day with great zest. The students of Std X organised a short programme for teachers.
The programme started with prayer, Bible reading, special prayer followed by melodious prayer songs. The students performed a musical orchestra, solo singing and street play.
Head master Sanjay Patil read a Teachers Day message from managing director madam.
Students felicitated their teachers by giving them cards and sapling. The programme concluded with thanks proposing by teachers.
