Scarcity action plan of district is worth Rs 22.64 cr
Zilla Parishad has sent a scarcity action plan worth Rs 22,64,57 for the next eight months to the district administration. The provision has been made in it for various water supply schemes for 1876 villages and remote areas.
The plan last year was worth Rs 28 crore. The district received good rainfall this time and dams in the district have 100% water stock. Considering this, financial provision for measures for scarcity in the plan has been reduced. The district, as well as the state, received excessive rainfall.
There is a scene that there will be no drought situation this time, but the administration has made arrangement of emergency measures at last moment. Planning has been made for the repair of tap, new tap scheme and other water supply schemes. Emphasis has been given on special repair of water supply schemes, borewell and supply of water through tanker and bullock cart. A special provision for permanent measures has not been made in the plan.

*A provision of Rs 13,42,44 to supply water through tanker and bullock cart. *Rs 3,12,75 for 685 borewells. *Rs 1.05 crore for 15 water supply schemes. *Rs 98 lakh for 14 schemes under temporary supplementary tap scheme. *Rs 3,000 for 3 schemes under special repair of borewells. *Rs 2.16 crore for 216 schemes under wells depth. *Rs 1,90,35 for 290 schemes under acquisition of private wells.
