Railways in action against black marketeers

dt@deshdoot.com – NASHIK: The railway authorities have plunged into action with the unearth of racket, selling train tickets in black market at Bhusawal junction.  The flying squad conducted surprise checks at different railway stations and arrested six persons in connection with their involvement in selling tickets.

About 6 suspects have been arrested from stations of Nashik, Bhusawal and Akola by a flying squad of the railways in connection with the selling of rail tickets in black market. The suspects were used to book tickets in the name of unknown persons and were selling it in black market at double rate, informed S T Rane, PRO, Railways, Bhusawal circle on Tuesday.

“Three suspects have been arrested from Nashik and three others from Akola and Bhusawal junction,” Rane said. The railways frequently conducts flying visits at different stations without the notice of the local authorities to prevent black marketing of train tickets in the larger interest of the commuters.
