Quarantine facility for police personnel at Met BKC, Adgaon

As per the suggestion made by Nashik rural police for a separate quarantine facility for the police personnel who are in the frontline of the fight against the COVID-19 infection, a well-equipped quarantine facility consisting of 75 flats and a capacity to accommodate around 350 police personnel and their families, has been set up at Adgaon.

With the instruction of district guardian minister Chhagan Bhujbal, former MP Sameer Bhujbal has converted a students’ hostel at Met- Bhujbal Knowledge City, Adgaon into the quarantine facility for police personnel.

The facility is well-equipped to cater to the basic needs of the quarantined police personnel such as nutritious food, cleanliness, regular health check-up, emergency transport, medical assistance and recreation.

The prevalence of Covid-19 is increasing in the district and the police are on 24 hours duty for the safety of the citizens.

Nashik rural superintendent of police Dr Arti Singh and deputy superintendent of police Shyamkumar Nipunge had demanded that the hostel of Met BKC, of which Sameer Bhujbal is the director, should be made available for regular inspection of the police personnel performing their duties during the lockdown. The HQ of the Nashik rural police is near Met Bhujbal Knowledge City College, Adgaon.
