Provide immediate aid to farmers: MLA Gholap


Deolali Camp: Farmers in Nashik taluka were largely affected by unseasonal rain and hailstorm and government should provide immediate aid to them, else agitation will be staged against it, warned MLA Yogesh Gholap.

Following loss of onion and other crops, MLA Yogesh Gholap, chairperson of Panchayat Samiti Ratnakar Chumbhale, former ZP chairperson Vishnupant Mhaisdhune, district chief NCP student wing Deepak Wagh, agriculture officer Medhe, sarpanch of Lakhalgaon village Swati Indile and others toured affected area.

80% crops in Lakhalgaon, Shilapur, Odha, Lahvit, Vanjarwadi and Lohshigve villages were affected. The farmers are largely worried over this. They demanded to people’s representatives that government should provide loan waiver to them now. MLA Gholap visited selected villages in the taluka. Orders regarding conduction of panchanamas have been issued to all government mechanism, informed MLA Gholap.
