Police conduct operation all out in city
Nashik: The city police conducted operation all out on Thursday night (April 18) at 33 slum areas in the city and took action against 128 hardened criminals. The operation all out was conducted all of a sudden.
Police searched for criminals involved in various criminal acts, goondaism, wanted criminals, miscreants and criminals on record. They detained 128 criminals. Police inspected hotels, lodges, dhabas and dharmashalas in the city.
Nandur Naka, Sinnar Phata, Sansari Naka, Mhasrul village, Ambad T point, Cidco hospital, Malegaon Stand, Thakkar Bazaar, square garden in Dwarka, Jehan circle, Chopada lawns, Bhabhanagar, Pathardi Phata and Narayan Bapu Chowk were sealed.
Police took action against for violation of traffic rules, driving without helmet, checking of vehicle documents and drunk and drive. Externee Ganesh Kalekar was arrested during the all out operation and a case has been filed against them.
Three have been arrested under the prohibition act from the jurisdictions of Ambad and Satpur police stations and illegal liquor worth Rs. 3,000 has been seized from them. Two persons arrested from Ambad police station area and seized a 950-kg beef from them.
Commissioner of Police Vishwas Nangre-Patil, deputy commissioner of police Laxmikant Patil, Amol Tambe, Pournima Choughule, Madhuri Kangne, assistant commissioner of police Ashok Nakhate, R R Patil, Mohan Thakur, 20 police inspectors, 85 assistant police inspectors and 589 police personnel took part in the operation all out.
