Peace committee and police honoured meritorious students from the slum area at Icchamani mangal karyalaya. Dr. Singal was speaking at that time. DCP Vijay Magar, Shrikrishna Kokate, Laxmikant Patil, ACP Raju Bhujbal, Vijay Chavan, Ashok Nakhate, Mohan Thakur, Ajay Deore, senior police inspector Bajirao Jadhav, Madhukar Kad, Pandharinath Dhokne, Avinash Sonawane, Khuldas Bhoye and S Y Bijli were present. Sachin Pawar provided his guidance about the competitive examinations. Peace committee members Mirabai Kadam, Bharat Kadam and Rambaba Pathare expressed their views.

Dr. Singal said that only criminals are not born in slum areas, but meritorious students are also born there. There will be definite success, if there is strong will power and sincere efforts. Poverty cannot become a hurdle, he added.
