We have quarantined these ‘high risk contact’ people as they could spread infection, the Health Minister said while speaking to reporters.

“There is a clear indication that more people might test positive for coronavirus in coming days”, the minister averred.

In a big relief, a COVID-19 patient from Pune city tested negative for the infection on Wednesday, after remaining “critical” on ventilator during her 14-day isolation period. The woman, who is an anganwadi worker, was taken off the ventilator and is currently responding well to the treatment, a doctor at Bharti Hospital Pune here said.
