NASHIK :

More than 200 devotees from Nashik, mostly from old Nashik and Bhadrakali areas have got stuck in West Bengal after the nationwide lockdown declared by central government on Sunday.

As per reports, on March 13 close to 250 pilgrims, Including children and senior citizens from the city had travelled to West Bengal to attend holy Dargah Sandal and they were scheduled to return on March 22.

However due to the emergency 21-day lockdown announcement by PM Modi amid Corona concerns, all the pilgrims got stuck there.

Reports further added that the pilgrims from the city faced stiff opposition from local people due to their outsider status as the Corona fear has gripped every nook and corner of the country and the local people were in no mood to entertain any outsider and foreign citizen.

Meanwhile, it is understood that a local MLA in West Bengal has provided them shelter with adequate facilities until ease of the situation.
