Other regional parties have attention to Shiv Sena ‘s stand: Bhatevara
Nashik: At present developments are going on at a rapid pace in Maharashtra for government formation and regional parties in the country have their attention to Shiv Sena stand. This is a start and in the future it can spread to other states, opined veteran journalist Suresh Bhatevara.
He was speaking in a ‘Political Katta’ organized by Deshdoot Times on Monday. Bhatevara tabled his clear view over bitterness in the Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance and conflict for power in the last five years and current political developments in the state.
The egoistic stand of BJP proved costly for it. It is aware of that horse-trading like Karnataka will not be made in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena was suffocated under BJP for the last five years. Atal Bihari Vajpayee had run NDA government having 24 allies.
However, allies of BJP are hurt due to the stand of Prime Minister Modi. Shiv Sena’s suffocation came out after state assembly election results, he stated. Sanjay Raut became a giant killer in the government formation process. It is not in the welfare of the state to impose the President’s rule, Bhatevara expressed.
Emotional issues will do not get much importance in politics in the future. If Shiv Sena forms a government with the support of Congress and Nationalist Congress Party, it cannot survive for more than two years, he guessed.
