Only 9 candidates clear finance-account exam
Nashik: Of the total of 1231 candidates who appeared for finance and account services class-III examination, only 9 candidates cleared the examination in real sense, while other 27 candidates cleared the examination with grace marks. The examination was conducted between April 24 to 27 last year.
As a result, question mark is being raised over style of work of Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). It is being suspected that there was irregularity on large scale in checking of answer sheets of the examination which was conducted for the employees. It is being stated that only 9 candidates (0.73%) passed the examination. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to take place in April, 2013.
Employees failed in paper II of employees part-I subject. The marks employees got are very less. They are failed in that subject which is they handled every day. It is being alleged that employees were given low marks intentionally.
Employees demanded to MPSC and directors (finance and treasury) to check answer sheets from third party officials. Barring 9 employees who cleared the examination with 45%, all rest employees received 60% or more marks in other 7 subjects.
How these employees got 20-30 marks only in paper II, the employees asked. The result percentage of UPSC and Chartered Accountant examination is 1%-2%, however, the result of this examination is 0.73%.
