No electronic gazettes at vote counting centre: Mandhare
Nashik: The counting of a vote for Nashik and Dindori Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on May 23 at Ambad warehouse. There will be a ban on usage of mobile and other electronic gazettes by officials and employees at the vote counting center, instructed District Collector Suraj Mandhare.
The workshop regarding vote counting was organized at Kalidas auditorium on Friday. Mandhare was speaking while addressing the workshop. He instructed that those employees who are receiving medical treatment should keep medicines with them.
Employees should perform their duty very well. Every employee who has been appointed at the voting center should keep their identity cards with them. Considering summer, a medical squad will be available there as a precautionary measure. Medical aid will be made available here during an emergency, Mandhare also informed.
Additional district collector Nilesh Sagar, deputy district collector Arvind Anturlikar, Sandip Aher, and other officials were also present. Deputy district electoral officer Arun Anandkar informed about the vote counting process to officials and employees through a power point presentation.
There will be tables state assembly wise and micro observer, supervisor, assistant supervisor, and a peon will be appointed at each table. In addition, he also informed about the counting of VVPAT machine slips and the process of counting of postal ballots.
