NASHIK :
The state government has released new set of norms for the extended phase of the forth lockdown.
As per the revised guidelines, Containment Zones, Red and non-Red Zones have been demarcated in the state. Accordingly, there are currently 186 Containment Zones in Nashik district. While Nashik and Malegaon municipal corporations have been placed in the Red Zone, the rest of the district has been tagged as the non-Red Zone. As a result of these new rules, economic activities and regular routine will pick up pace in the non-Red Zones giving a much needed relief to people under the lockdown.
From now onwards, there will only be two zones in the entire district and throughout the state — Red Zone and Non-Red Zone. Both the zones will include Containment Zones. The earlier Green and Orange zones have been cancelled.
Night curfew
– All the services will remain closed from 7 pm to 7 am
– No movement of people will be allowed from 7 pm to 7 am except essential services
– Persons above 65-year age group, pregnant women, persons with other ailments, children below 10 years of age should stay at home, can leave the house for medical reasons only.
Rules for Red Zone:
– All shops under essential service
– Home delivery of liquor
– Closure of taxi and rickshaw services
– 1+2 in four wheeler vehicle and only one person allowed on a 2-wheeler bike
– Malls, restricted shops and other establishments can continue to remain open from 9 am to 5 pm for cleaning purposes only
– Record and RTO offices to remain functional
– Only 5% staff permitted in the university, college for checking of exam answer sheets, results.
Rules for Non-Red Zone
– Sports complexes, stadiums, open spaces will remain open for personalised exercise, No crowd is allowed.
– Permission to run inter-district bus services with 50 per cent passenger capacity.
– All shops and markets will remain open from 9 am to 5 pm. But the local administration keeps rights reserve to take appropriate action at appropriate time
– Permission to start a salon
This will remain closed:
– Train, metro, air services will remain closed in all the zones including inter-state road transportation
– Educational institutions, hospitals, hotels, malls, places of worship will remain closed.
