Nashik has six restricted zones

NASHIK :

The number of coronavirus patients has increased to 12 in the city. Municipal Commissioner has declared five restricted zones earlier where positive patients are residing.

As the positive patient has been found in Vrindavan Nagar (behind Late Kishore Suryawanshi road) in Mhasrul Shivar, NMC administration has started preparations to declare this area as a restricted zone.

When NMC administration is taking hard efforts to contain coronavirus outbreak, it has come to light that a trainee doctor working in the district civil hospital has been infected.

It has come to light that the concerned doctor is residing in Chitralekha building at Vrindavan Nagar in Mhasrul Shivar for the last three months on a lease basis along with his two-three colleagues. Of the total 12 flats in the building, four flats are vacant.

On the backdrop of this, NMC health department conducted the inspection in the area on Monday morning. Now work to take information is being started.

Some other who are residing with the concerned doctor have been taken into custody for treatment. Work to make a planning about the declaration of the restricted zone was going on till evening on Monday. With the declaration of this area as a restricted zone, the city will now has six restricted zones.
