Nashik Bhushan award declared to Narendra Goliya
Nashik: The Nashik Bhusan award, instituted by the Rotary Club of Nashik has been declared to renowned industrialist Narendra Goliya this year. The award will be presented to him in a program on Monday (May 20) by city Commissioner of Police Vishwas Nangre Patil.
This award presentation programme will be held in Kalidas auditorium at 6 pm. Earlier, great Marathi poet Kusumagraj alias Tatyasaheb Shirwadkar, Prof. Vasant Kanetkar, Shantabai Dani, Kusumtai Patwardhan, Dr. Vasant Pawar, Bapu Nadkarni, Balasaheb Wagh, Narendra Jadhav, Vishwasrao Mandlik and Vinayakdada Patil were honoured with this award.
Nashik is a workplace of Narendra Goliya. After completing his IIT education in Mumbai, he took his next education at Stanford University in America. Goliya manufactured electric and electronic appliances in Nashik and exported them directly to Germany.
He has expanded his business to England and Poland. Rishabh Instruments Pvt. Ltd. of Goliya which has a turnover of around Rs. 500 crore has started in-house lab having international NABL norm. Goliya has given a valuable contribution in the industrial sector.
Nashikites should be present in large numbers for the programme, urged president of Rotary Club of Nashik Radhey Yeole, secretary Mugdha Lele, Nashik Bhushan award committee president Dr. Rajendra Nehete and director (PR) Santosh Sabale.
