Highest 13,000 names deleted in Nashik east constituency
Nashik: As per electoral roll which has been published as per instructions by Election Commission of India, names of 55,187 voters in the district have been deleted. Double, migrated and names of deceased voters are among them, informed the election department.
The district has current 42,60,393 voters, earlier, the number of voters was 43,15,580.
The Election Commission has announced a brief revalidation programme of electoral rolls having photographs.
As per the final electoral roll which has been published on January 10, 2018, the district has total 43,15,580 voters. 22,67,538 are male voters, while 20,47,969 are female voters.
As per electoral roll published on September 1, the district has 42,60,393 voters. 22,37,783 are male voters, whereas 20,22,536 are female voters.
However, a number of male voters have been cut by 29,764, while the number of female voters has been cut by 25,424. The number of service voters has been increased. As many as 7,023 service voters have been registered in the district. 86 voters are female voters, while 6,937 are male voters.
