Municipal Commissioner visits containment areas

Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishna Game along with a medical team visited four containment areas in Nashik city and directed health department, health-medical department and divisional officers. After six patients were tested positive on Saturday in the municipal area in four parts of the city have been declared as containment areas.

Game inspected Malpani Saffron housing society, Pathardi Phata, Uttamnagar area near Burkule hall, the area near Hiray school in Savatanagar and Maharashtra housing colony in Satpur.

He on the occasion issued various instructions to police officials, municipal health and medical officials, Asha workers and divisional officials. He also took information about the arrangement of food for health department workers who are working in these areas, the supply of medicine and medical check-up of medical teams.

Instructions to take care that residents in containment zones cannot go outside in a period that has been fixed and no person from outside enter the area. It has also been instructed to make an arrangement of vegetables and milk to avoid a shortage of essential commodities.

Instructions have also been issued to spray disinfectant in all the four restricted zones. Conduct health check of citizens visiting door to door, make an arrangement to check outpatients at the place which is suitable in all the four restricted zones and treat patients as per guidelines by government, instructed Game. He on the occasion interacted with corporate Sudhakar and Harsha Badgujar, Mukesh Shahane, Ratnamala Rane, senior police inspector Kumar Choudhari and residents of the area.

Health medical officer Dr Rajendra Tryambake, assistant health medical officer Dr Ajita Salunkhe, Dr Chhaya Salunkhe, Dr Yogesh Koshire and other officials were present during this inspection tour.
