The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has issued a new directive regarding the social distance at banks and ATMs. The Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19 has been infected in some parts of the state. The government has implemented several preventive measures in the state to prevent the spread of the disease. After planning about various banks and ATMs, the corporation has issued instructions for various banks. The bank managers have been given a copy of a letter by the Nashik Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishna Game.

It has been instructed to all the banks in the city that they should place emergency telephone numbers and WhatsApp numbers on the front of their banks and ATMs in a prominent place. The banks should also place marking in and out for customers to stand for maintaining social distancing.

The bank and ATMs should have hand sanitizers at the entrance. Hand gloves should be used by the bank employees working at the bank. Every person in the queue should be allowed to enter into the bank or ATM only after using sanitizer. Banks in which banks and ATMs are overcrowded should appoint their own staff outside the bank for crowd control.

According to this, banks should plan the working hours and time of closing or opening of bank. Similarly, due to the emergency situation, they should keep the bank ATM open for maximum time and provide facilities to the citizens, directed Corporation.
