Maha Rangoli at Muktidhaam temple
Nashik: A group of rangoli artists created a Maha Rangoli at Muktidhaam Temple of Nashik Road, Bytco Point. The Maha Rangoli was made on the occasion of Kartiki Purnima. This was the third year of this group to create the Maha Rangoli. About 15 rangoli artists from a group named Maha Rangoli Group.
The member of this group from Nashik Road created the 60×40 feet Maha Rangoli in premises of Muktidhaam temple. The artists used around 200 kg of rangoli and color to make this rangoli happen. It took around five to six hours to finish the rangoli.
The Rangoli has been made in three parts in first part a Gaalicha design has been made in half circle. In the second part a image of the Muktidhaam temple has been made with a slogan of ‘Jai Shree Ram’. In the last part, the artists have created a portrait of Kartiki Swami with him seating on a peacock.
The rangoli became a happening for a day and was shared on a social media platforms. The artists got appraised by the Nashikites for their skills.
