An innovative app to detect car accidents launched


Nashik : App Craftz which is a Software firm based in Nashik driven by young entrepreneurs Mahendra Ekbote and Parth Vaidya recently launched Accident Rescue, a mobile app which can detect car accidents automatically when installed in the mobile phone of the driver or co-passengers. The app is completely free to the users.
When an accident takes place, Accident Rescue automatically senses it and informs 3 preset family members/friends about the accident, location of the accident and a list of nearby hospitals as well as a list of nearby police stations. A loud police siren will be sounded on the phone’s of the three members.
The main purpose of this app is to inform family members so that instant medical aid can be provided to their loved ones. Chances of survival are highest if accident victims get treatment in first hour, which is called golden hour.
Accident Rescue also features an over speed warning beep. The app will notify the driver in form of a beep if he crosses a speed limit. The app also has an SOS button to notify family members of emergency situation. It’s a free application in social interest for mankind.
Accident Rescue was launched by Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis during Make in Nashik event.
It’s available on google play store and can be downloaded free.
