Hiray brothers resign from NDCC Bank

NASHIK : Criticising the working of the Nashik District Central Co-op Bank Ltd (NDCC), directors MLC Apoorva Hiray and his brother Advay Hiray have reportedly announced their resignation from the posts of director of the Bank.

Reports further say that sitting chairman of the NDCC Bank, Narendra Darade had also offered to resign from his post, however, board of directors of the bank categorically rejected his offer of resignation and denied to accept the same.

The Hiray brothers have cited many reasons in support of their stand of resigning from the directorship of the bank including vague role of the bank post demonetisation, delay in the payment to teachers, non-issuance of crop loans to farmers, ambiguity in transactions, failing to tackle MSEDCL and Zilla Parishad delayed payment issues etc.
