Forest dept to develop Saptshrungi Garh tourism
Nashik : The forest department has finally planned to encourage more tourism at Saptshrungi Garh. The department has decided to develop a children’s garden at the steps of the Saptshrungi mountain. The place has a religious value and has large numbers of pilgrims visiting every day.
The department is also thinking of providing funds to provide basic facilities at the park and to increase the footfall. The work is said to be done within next 2 years. The Deputy Conservator of Forest, Nashik East Zone, IFS Tushar Chavan informed Deshdoot Times, “Saptshrungi Garh sees a lot of visitors.
To increase further tourism there we are planning to develope a children’s garden and a Nakshtra garden too. Some basic facilities will also be provided at the place for the visitors. The process is in primary phase and we will very soon release a full proof development plan.”
The district of Nashik has pleasant weather, heritage as well as religious significance.
