FA honours star achievers


Nashik: Fravashi Academy recently organised the annual prize presentation for the academic year 2016-2017. The programme commenced with a melodious orchestra by the school band. It was followed by the prize presentation for the Board toppers and the students from Std V to X, who excelled in academics in their respective classes last year.

Since Fravashi Academy firmly believes in encouraging sports, three students who have recently made a remarkable entry on the National scene in different sports were also felicitated on this day. Varun Wagh of Std IX proved his mastery in chess by bagging the gold at the 63rd National School Games Inter-school Chess Tournament at Warangal.

Mihika Thatte, upcoming Badminton star, ranked 2nd in the National Inter-school Badminton Tournament held at Bengaluru. Mohit Makwana, a budding Ronaldo, was a member of the winning team in the national level football tournament sponsored by the School Sport and Cultural Activities Federation at Karnal.

All the achievers were felicitated by chairman of R S Luth education trust Ratan Luth and vice-chairperson Sharvari Luth. Mr. Luth congratulated the awardees but also cautioned them against distractions.The proud parents of all star achievers were the honoured guests for the day. The programme concluded with delicious refreshments.
