Nashik: Following the withdrawal of nominations, the picture of the Lok Sabha election has now been cleared. The campaigning has gathered momentum in a real sense. The election branch has also made preparations and distributed more than 1 lakh ballot papers to voting center chiefs state assembly constituency wise on Monday.
The voting for Nashik and Dindori Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on April 29. A total of 18 candidates in the fray for Nashik constituency, while 8 candidates are in the fray for Dindori constituency.
As a part of the elections preparations, ballot papers were distributed in presence of District Collector Suraj Mandhare and deputy district returning officer Arun Anandkar. A total of 61,155 ballot papers were distributed in Nashik, while 61,400 ballot papers were distributed in Dindori.
Candidates of political parties were present on the occasion to ensure transparency. A period of two weeks is left for the voting. However, the election branch distributed ballot papers on Monday.
