Dwarka-Nashik Road flyover Centre issues tender for appointment of technical advisor

NASHIK : Taking a step further on the proposed Dwarka-Datta Mandir Circle flyover, the Centre has issued a tender for the appointment of a technical advisor to speed up the project work.

MP Hemant Godse had given a proposal on the proposed 5.9-km long flyover between the stretch of Dwarka and Datta Mandir Circle (Nashik Road) to Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari to remove traffic bottlenecks on the ever-busy road.

In his proposal, the MP had demanded conversion of the 5.9-km long stretch (which falls under the NMC limits) into a national highways (NH) so as to speed up the work under the authority of central government uninterruptedly.

“Citing heavy traffic to & fro sides of Sinnar, Shirdi, Ahmednagar and Pune, the union minister Gadkari readily agreed to the given proposal and issued tender for the appointment of the technical advisor,” said MP Godse.
