‘Dignity ride’ by Nashik Cyclists held


Nashik: The ‘Dignity ride’, organised jointly by Nashik Cyclists Association, A to Z Cycles and Prahar organisation for disabled was held with enthusiasm. A message of ‘live with dignity’ was given through this ride. 12-15 disabled and other 70-80 cyclists took part in it.

The extended showroom of A to Z cycles was inaugurated by prominent personalities on this occasion. The ride began from Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan at 7 am on Sunday and proceeded further to Marathon Chowk, Ashok Stambh, Meher Signal, CBS, Trimbak Naka and via Zilla Parishad Bhavan was culminated at A to Z cycles.

Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal flagged off the ride. MP Hemant Godse, Deputy Mayor Prathmesh Gite, corporator Gajanan Shelar, corporator Sufi Jin and district president of Prahar organisation Dattu Bodke were present. Cyclist Pankaj Marlecha was present for the ride. He came from Mumbai on cycle. A to Z Cycles gifted tricycle to Machhindra Suryawanshi.

President of Nashik Cyclists Jaspalsingh Birdi, vice president Yogesh Shinde, Manisha Bhamre, Dr. Manisha Raundal, Sofiya Kamadia, Nita Narang and others were also present.

A to Z Cycles’ Kutbi Merchant, Prahar Sanghatna’s Dattu Bodke, Prakash Chavan, Manisha Darade and others took sincere efforts for success of the ‘Dignity Ride’.
