NASHIK: Shiv Sena Mahila Aghadi is committed to provide employment to one lakh women in Nashik. Shiv Sena Mahila Aghadi provided employment to 125 women in Gulmohor Society at Pathardiphata under Shivbandhan program. Its material distribution program was held.
Former District Chief Datta Nana Gaikwad, Former Mayor Vinayak Pandey, Former Metropolitan Chief Devanand Birari, West Assembly Liaison Chief Nilesh Chavan, Trumbak Kombade, Coordinator of Women’s Front Shamlatai Dixit, Tanuja Gholap, Kirti Javkhedkar, Anita Patil, Sharda Donde, Nilofar Sheikh, Anju Khan and others were present.
Badgujar said “In lockdown due to Covid-19 outbreak has many lost their jobs, various sectors were hit and businesses were shut. Many have faced starvation. It is not an easy task to provide employment to all the people, but the Shiv Sena’s women’s front has accepted this challenge”. Badgujar said that the work has already started and at present 125 women are benefiting from it.
Datta Gaikwad said that they will try to provide commercial loan for this work to cultivate the commitment towards society. Former mayor Vinayak Pandey promised to co-operate in weaving the marketing network on a large scale. The introductory speech was made by Shruti Naik. It was discussed that since the China market is closed, the market has potential to get an order to make eco-friendly bags, so steps have been taken to provide employment to as many women as possible.
