DEOLALI: Central and State Governments have started various measures to prevent pollution. The Kotamgaon Gram Panchayat in Nashik taluka, which has earned a reputation as an ideal gram panchayat in Nashik district by continuously implementing new social initiatives, has undertaken innovative initiatives in the gram panchayat office.
As the trend among citizens to buy electronic vehicles is increasing, such facilities need to be available in the village for charging such vehicles. Gram Panchayat Sarpanch and other officials have taken this initiative. This is the first time Kotamgaon Gram Panchayat has undertaken such an experiment and other Gram Panchayats can be inspired by it.
