NASHIK: All teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 in rural areas will be vaccinated with Covaxin, informed health department of Zilla Parishad. Through Zilla Parishad Health Department, under the guidance of Chief Executive Officer Lina Bansod, District Health Officer Dr. Kapil Aher, from January 3, teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 in rural areas will be vaccinated with Covaxin only as per NTAGI guidelines.
Teens can register on the Cowin system, as well as by going to the vaccination site. Separate arrangements will be made for this. This arrangement will be made in the rural areas of the district and the municipal area as well as in the gram panchayat area.
The vaccination center will be expanded in phases. At the school level, all boys and girls in the district should be vaccinated by going to the above health center, and this vaccination is necessary and important to prevent the third wave. The health department is making special efforts for this, and the citizens should take advantage of this opportunity, appealed Zilla Parishad President Balasaheb Shirsagar. In the first phase, vaccination centres are being started at 25 places in the Nashik district.
