Aurangabad: On the occasion 55th foundation day of Shiv Sena today (Saturday), on behalf of Shiv Sena Aurangabad, Shiv Sena Spokesperson, District Chief and MLC Ambadas Danve hoisted the saffron flag and paid homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Shiv Sena chief late Balasaheb Thackeray.
Speaking on the occasion of Danve said that Shiv Sena is the ruling party in the state and Uddhav Thackeray’s name is taken with respect as the head of the alliance government. With the cooperation of all, Municipal Corporations, Zilla Parishads and Zilla Banks are also under the control of Shiv Sena.
While moving forward in terms of development, the main resolve is to completely eradicate the crisis of Corona which has been coming for the last one and a half years through Shiv Sainiks through the campaign “Nirdhar Corona Mukt Gaon”,he said.
Two ministers hailing from Sena from this district among seven party MLAs out of nine,he added. On this occasion numbers of office bearers and party workers were present. It may noted that on June 19, 1966, late Thackeray founded the Shiv Sena as a political organisation. The party had come in to power in 1995 with alliance of BJP and second time in power in 2019 with the help of NCP and Congress.
