DEOLALI CAMP: MLA Saroj Ahire informed that NCP President and senior leader Sharad Pawar will personally look into the issues like Nashik Sugar Factory, Ekalhare power plant, and temples (holy places) within the Deolali assembly constituency, A delegation of farmers from Deolali Constituency met Pawar under the guidance of Ahire.
They stated it is essential that the Ekalhare continues power generation at full capacity to maintain the balance and continuity of supply. Also, it is important to start a Nashik Cooperative Sugar Factory as it has become a matter of life and death for the farmers of four talukas. They even discussed the issues related to the holy places and temples in depth at the meeting.
Sharad Pawar assured that he will chair a meeting soon at the government level to resolve all the three issues being faced by the farmers and other concerned groups. Sarpanch Sanghatan district president Balasaheb Mhaske, former Panchayat Samiti Chairman Ratnakar Chumble, vice chairman Anil Jagtap, Dhavalu Fasale and others were present at the meeting
