Section 144 in force in the district

NASHIK: Immediate preventive measures need to be taken to ensure that the Coronavirus infection and outbreak do not create serious health problem for the citizens. Accordingly, as part of preventive measures to prevent the spread of Corona in rural areas of the district, Section 144 (1) (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been enforced in the district from June 1 to June 15, 2021.

Accordingly, citizens are prohibited from walking in public places from 3 pm to 6 am. District Collector Suraj Mandhare has issued an order that the citizens who go out for necessary permissible work should bring their identity cards and strong proofs with them. To curb the crisis, District Collector Mandhare has been appointed as the Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority.

Restrictions in the order passed by the state government on 31 May, 2021, also, all the restrictions imposed in this order are subject to certain terms and conditions have been imposed in Nashik district from 07.00 am on June 1 to 07.00 am on June 15. Also, as part of preventive measures to prevent the outbreak of corona, Section 144 (1) (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been implemented in the district from June 1 to June 15, 2021, District Collector Mandhare said in the order. Citizens should be careful while going out.

By order, in Nashik (rural) district, from June 1 to June 15, 2021, citizens will be prohibited from walking in public places from 3 pm to 6.00 am every day. Persons dealing with essential and permissible matters should posses Photo ID card. It is also important to have strong documentary evidenceb about the work.

Excluding essential services and establishments as decided by District Disaster Management Authority, Nashik as on 31st May 2021, all other establishments and services will continue within the stipulated time. Also, all private and government establishments will be allowed public, private bus transport, rickshaws, four-wheelers and two-wheelers for the work permitted by the citizens.

However, it will be necessary to follow the instructions given earlier. Individuals, organisations or groups violating this order will be liable for punishment under Section 51 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 as well as Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and the provisions of the prevailing law, District Collector Suraj Mandhare has mentioned in this order.
