School bells to ring from June 14

NASHIK: Primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools have been given summer vacations from Maharashtra Day. The summer holidays will last till June 13, and the first school day in the state in the 2021-22 academic year will be June 14. In the meantime, special care will be taken to reopen the school, and as per the rules of the Secondary School Code, the total number of holidays in the academic year will not exceed 76 days.

The district’s primary and secondary education authorities may allow it to be used for festivals like Ganeshotsav or Christmas instead of shortening the long summer and Diwali holidays. As per the rules of the Secondary School Code, schools will ensure that the total number of holidays in the academic year does not exceed 76 days.

As a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus, all government and private primary, secondary and junior colleges in the Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayat are currently closed. Given the immediate situation of corona outbreak in the academic year 2021-22, the orders to be issued by the state government will be issued by the Directorate of Education.

To coordinate the summer and Diwali vacations of primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools, the vacations for the academic year are fixed by the Directorate of Education every year.
