Salons to open if Centre allows : Bhujbal

State food and civil supplies minister Chhagan Bhujbal yesterday assured a delegation of salon shop owners that the government will allow the opening of salon shops in the state if the central government to do so.

The salon owners who are among the hardest hit area in big trouble as the salon business has been come to a standstill for the last four months due to Corona lockdown.

However, the state government has not yet given permission to open salon shops as there is no green signal yet from the central government to commence the salon business. However, Bhujbal, the district guardian minister said that the state government is ready to allow the salon business to operate in the state if the Centre permits.

The minister assured the delegates of Maharashtra Nashik Mahasangh affiliated to National Federation of Barbers when they met the former on Saturday and submitted a memorandum.
