NASHIK: A fund of Rs 51 crore has been sanctioned for various development works in Deolali assembly constituency apart from an immediate provision of Rs 5 crore for the proposed sports complex of Rs 15 crore in Deolali, informed Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
“Former Chief Minister late Vasantrao Naik took strategic decisions from time to time in the interest of the farmers, he tried to give a fair price to the farmers by encouraging the farmers to use hybrid seeds. Special efforts are being made at the government level to take strategic decisions to ensure that farmers’ goods get a fair price and they will not be cheated. The government is in the interest of the farmers of the state and is always committed to give them justice,” said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
He was speaking at the inauguration of various development works in Deolali assembly constituency yesterday. State Food and Civil Supplies Minister and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, MLA Saroj Ahire and other office bearers were present on the occasion. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar further said that Rs 5 crore would be made available immediately for the proposed sports complex of Rs 15 crore in Deolali assembly constituency. A proposal will also be tabled at the convention to provide Rs 300 crore to the health department to ensure that there is no shortage of funds during the Corona period, he said.
