NASHIK: Ahead of Republic Day, the disrict administration has prohibited manufacture, sale and use of national flags made of plastic. The national flag will be hoisted on the backdrop of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
As a precautionary measure, the manufacture, sale and use of the national flag using plastic has been banned from Friday till January 31, 2022. Additional District Magistrate Nashik Bhagwat Doiphode has issued a government order banning the entire Nashik (rural) area, excluding the boundaries of Commissioner of Police Nashik in the district under the powers vested under Section 144 (1) (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973.
